Most women don't have a weight loss problem...

Hi Reader

Have you ever gone on a "diet" and actually lost weight? Most of the women I speak with have but the reason they are seeing me is because they were not able to maintain their losses and/or now they are stuck feeling like even their old methods aren't working anymore.

So, this is actually useful information because if you find you HAVE lost weight in the past, then you don't actually have a weight loss problem! yay, good news!

So, what is the problem then?

Why did the weight come back or why are you unable to lose now?

My friend, this is the exact experience the "diet industry" wants to you to have. Instead of teaching you life-long weight maintenance skills, they simple teach you how to get the weight off as fast as possible and then set you free with no real-life skills for maintaining it. Then they bank on you coming back doing repeat rounds.

AND- when you're no longer getting a result, it's assumed that it's YOUR fault for "cheating" on the program!

I do NOT want this for you....

This is why I teach a totally different approach and one of the "hills I will die on" as a functional health coach is never to teach women how to "drop weight as fast as possible."

I'm saddened to see women spending tons of time and money on unsustainable efforts. Sure, you could count every macro, follow a meal plan, or cut out all carbs and get results... but do you want to do that forever? Because that's what it will take to continue to keep that weight off.

Or-- would you rather finally LEARN the skills to create healthy meals that you enjoy and also get you to your goals over time.

Because REAL sustainable fat loss TAKES TIME. Period.

There are no secret tricks or ways around this.

If your plan only works while you're following the plan, you haven't actually learned how to maintain the result.

So, ladies, let's rebel and learn a NEW way.

Let's be empowered women who FEEL good and have energy for life before trying to force ourselves to be smaller.

The diet industry can never ever again take advantage of a women who finally knows how to trust her own body.

If you're feeling stuck, I'd love to help you learn how to trust yourself again and how to support your body composition without food rules.

You deserve better!

Hi ReaderI'll never forget my client from a few years ago, Rebecca... She came to me as a "pro dieter" (she even called herself that!) and told me she had done every diet in the book. They all would work for some time and then she would "get lazy" and "cheat" and she would stop losing or regain the weight (those are the words she used). She came to me literally asking for more willpower and motivation and said that she had lost all of hers and didn't know how to get it back so she could...

Hi Reader Happy Friday! 😂 I genuinely thought I’d have this whole adulthood thing figured out by now. Surely by midlife I’d have it all together? Apparently not. Here are a few things I thought would be easier by now. Which ones can you relate to or what can you add? Reply back- I seriously want to know! Remembering why I walked into a room...Still working on this one. Getting enough sleep.I know exactly how important it is. My child has other opinions. 😂 Recovering from a hard workout.I can...
